UO Market Place

We have been very fortunate by having the opportunity to have a pop up in the Urban Outfitters Market Place. Urban Outfitters created UO Marketplace to help small businesses within their local community to become more established. As we started Le Chéile in lockdown and have been working from our workshop and using Instagram as our main selling platform we thought it would be an amazing chance to meet everyone. So we started getting to work!

All of our products are handmade in our workshop in Belfast so there was a few late nights to get everything prepared for the UO Market Place. We were so excited and nervous as we had to plan merchandising, graphics and what products we were going to bring with us. With the help of our talented graphic designer (and very good friend) Pearse O’Neill we got the price list designed and used a range of stunning images from local photographers Macy Stewart and Bryony Coles.

We had such a fun time in Urban Outfitters - so much fun we decided to go back twice and even a weekend in the Temple Bar, Dublin Urban Oufitters! We loved seeing new and familiar faces. After a strange 18 months it was amazing to get talking to everyone and it definitely gave us a push in the right direction for Le Chéile.

Were excited to see what the future holds!
